Debuted in January at the Detroit Auto Show, the M2 stands out with its aggressive body lines, compact dimensions and premium features, all packaged at a very attractive price – RM498,800. The M2’s 370 hp 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 makes it devilishly fast, getting from 0-60 in just over four seconds and its 343 lb-ft of torque (369 lb-ft for temporary overboost) allows it to roast its rear tires on command. The top speed of the new BMW M2 is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

The new 2016 BMW M2 is also official safety car for 2016 MotoGP World Championship, the official BMW M fleet made its first appearance last weekend. This year marks BMW M’s 18th season as “Official Car of MotoGP”. BMW’s successful partnership with MotoGP organiser Dorna Sports dates back to 1999. Since then, the fleet of M models and M Performance models has helped to ensure that race events run safely.
